White, Katelyn

Katelyn White is a graduate student at UC Santa Cruz studying Applied Mathematics working with Nic Brummell and Gary Glatzmaier. In particular, she uses computer models to study magnetic fields and fluid dynamics that relate to the Earth. She has a passion for teaching and has twice participated in the PDP (2011, 2013) working on short courses that aimed to prepare undergraduate students for summer internships by introduce programming concepts and practices using Arduino programing language and hardware.
